Here’s a little update.. I’m running on the orientation week now as school’s just a week away. The wheel keeps rolling now that it’s the second day of orientation and things seem quite hasty lately. Anyway, yesterday was the first so it pretty much was all about new stuffs. New people to meet, new places to see and new insight. Anyway, I’ve also met my potential classmates and most of them were locals here. And why potential? Cos our classmates are likely to switch classes so it’s not that fixed yet. I might say that all of them were locals here so it left me down with another gal being the sole foreigners here. O well..

What we did yesterday was basically getting acquainted kinda thing. We were toured to classes and made familiar with the place, and then down to playing games with friends and seniors. Well, the games were fun. I lost several times and lost my face, literally, cos I had to banana-dance in front of what looked like thirty-ish people as the punishment. Okay, no regrets, no worries. I don’t even know most of them anyway. =P

Then again, today was the pageant day. The theme was pretty much something like Undercover kinda theme, so couples representing their classes have to perform on stage as something else. Apparently, I was chosen as the pageant girl along with my classmate Nigel, as my partner. So there we were, pageant couple of class number 7.
Here’s the thing though.. I was caught off guard when I saw the other contestants backstage this morning, all prepared and dressed up as phantom of the opera, third graders, police officer, couples in bed literally under cover (well I mean they made it look like they’re having sex. Haha. I think it’s smart), and then many of the dudes dressed like women with their fake boobs, wigs and all. So were the girls with their mustaches and black suits. We were totally underdressed!!! But still, in a good way. As it was settled with Nigel yesterday, we both dressed in black and he even got his suit with tie and leather shoes and all. So we were actually not bad. Then it seemed like we most certainly looked like spies, so there we were, the so called SPIES. =P We got on stage on cue, posed with some cheesy spy-like poses and got it over with. it's like unstrapping a bandage, quick and easy. haha

But yeah.. we didn’t make it to the second round but what the hey, it’s fun. Haha..
Aaaaanyway, it’s nice writing about something completely random like this. I mean, I don’t join pageants very often anyway.. So let me get down to business and report back. Well, something completely random.. what is it gonna be?.. what is it gonna be?.. maybe I’ll see what happens when I slap a random person on the road, and then I’ll get back to you.
Haha =P

*poof*
