Soliloquy

Have you ever felt like you haven't been catching up with yourself an awful lot? That's what Ive been feeling lately. There was the project period, then there came the reading period, the mugging period which made "reading" mean flipping thru the book while watching gossip girls, then there came the desperately-memorizing period which officially made "mugging" mean napping at 3pm every day. Anyways, that's not the point. Then what else, it was the exam period. TADA! The gory why-don't-you-just-kill-me-now exam period. And that's that.

But it,s okay cos there came the holiday rite after it. But well before I add a woo-hoo somewhere in this sentence, I gotta say that holiday was not all that much woo-hoo since I had to go on an adventurous trip and a series of preparations for my NYAA requirements. Don't ask me what NYAA is, just act like you know it and nod thoughtfully. Anyway, so the NYAA requires us to have some kind of adventurous activities like walking around the jungle while running from leeches and exploring tha bats cave with snakes in it and riding on speedboats and playing water (which is so much fun) or walking on the scary canopy, which all I've already done with a bunch of cool fun friends, which I gotta admit, is the only thing that kept me from leaving the place. O well, what I gotta say, I'm clearly not an adventurous person. Yes, it took me 4 days and 3 nights to realize that.

So, all details aside, here goes: woo hoooo!

And there was the real fun part where my parents and grandma came to visit for like two weeks, and the house became all cheery and alive, finally the signs of life. =P
All we did was going out and catching up and eating and having medical check-ups and mumbling and cooking and chit chatting and so on. Which I gotta admit, kept me preoccupied the whole time. And that's exactly what I mean.

It was fun and stuff, but Ive been lacking on my little quality time with my hobbies and personal space for some time now. And that is why Ive nearly forgotten how a soliloquy in mind used to sound. And it occured to me that perhaps, a little writing like it used to be, might help. And it did.
