with or without you

Have you ever had someone whom you have and will always have vehemence for? It’s so strong that maybe you need a year or two or never, to forget. I’m talking about people in general, so it can be a -once- best friend, a -once- loved one, or even a –considered once- family member =P. I mean, this person is the one who again, once, meant so much to you, the one you feel most comfortable with, your mentor, or even your slight obsession, or better yet, according to a friend, the one who pretty much is next to being in god’s position on your list =P. Well, everybody knows that when you’re this paper-thin close to someone, it will hurt the most when something bad happens between you two. It can be in the form of a big disappointment, disrespect or a lie in the relationship.

Well, considering that this person has been etched that deeply on you, no matter how long you’ve passed not seeing or dealing with him, still it feels different when someone mentions even only his name. You’ll go preoccupied for a second and it feels like skipping a heart beat before you manage to pull yourself together again. Well, can’t help. Because no matter what, he’s once your best, the one you couldn’t imagine life would be without. That happens, and it still will happen even when you’re strong enough to shrug and say, “well, with or without you.”
