cupcakes

I made cupcakes. Yes I did! Yes I did!
So I was at winny’s yesterday, baking like 90 cute little chocolate cupcakes. It was winny’s idea in the first place, and I just went for it. Yay!

First thing, we poured all the ingredients to a mixing bowl, mixed it with a mixer, which was quite challenging cos after some 10 minutes of holding the mixer and moving it clockwise, my hand went numb and strangely hot. Maybe winny’s too cos she mixed the eggs with the butter also. The dough itself was kinda too viscous and starchy which made it even harder to mix after some time. I have my right arm kinda stiff today. =P

And that’s me mixing the luscious chocolate-y chocolate dough. Man.. look at that sinfully thick chocolate.. yummy.. Got to lick a fingerful of the choco dough. Life’s good.. life’s good..haha

Then we filled the dough to the paper cups. We got around 90 little cups for the dough. I like the colorful paper cups, yellow and violet. Cute. Anyway, we had hard times filling in the dough to the cups and winny’s hand looked more like the cupcake itself cos she got the chocolate all over it. Poor girl, or shud I say lucky you. =P

Actually we throw in some choco chips too, two at the bottom, some in the center and two more on the top, so it’d be more chocolate-y and lamentably more caloric for sure. T.T And then we sprinkled some colorful beads on the top, and that’s it, done with the decorating.

Here’s how it looked like before baking. As much as I like them, they actually looked like stacks of shit (read: tahi). Brown, viscous, coiling. Only, it lacked flies flying above. Hahaha..can’t help. Can’t find any other more similar resemblance than that, sorry for spoiling your mood for the cupcakes. Haha..

Then the final touch. Baked them for 15 minutes and done! Yay!

Tasted good. Smelled tempting. Well, off course they did, even before they’re baked. Haha..
They’re good, only that they lack water and baking soda so the texture feels a bit solid and dry also they bloomed just a little. Bloom, is it? Is it the word? Haha.. other than that, all good. I made them myself anyway so I can’t give any objective opinions for sure. Or else, it would be called betrayal among cupcakes, winny and me. =P So it must be GOOD. Haha..
