party

It’s so envious seeing the look in the eyes of those kids that wipes the entire room with wonderment every single morning like it’s a new day, new place, new people every day. When a teacher says, “Good morning!” to them, some reciprocate with the spirit big enough to conquer anything for the very day, some give a wondrous, perplexed look to you before timidly say the drilled beforehand words “good morning, miss.”
So, what is it being kids all about? natural and naïve.

Anyway, when I was sitting and reading fashion magazines while waiting for my grandma to have her hair dyed and curled at the salon Saturday morning, it occurred to me that reading this kind of magazines indeed makes us learn new things, know more things and absolutely want more things! How not? Looking at those Jimmy Choo boots, Gucci bags, Hermes watches is more than enough to boost up your desire. And then again, there are tons of articles suggesting on doing this and that from the trivial friend-or-lover relationship issue ‘til the sex site, from the beauty department ‘til the save-the-world acts, all meant to be good but too good to be accomplished, which after some time, seems like instead of boosting up our self-esteem, it drags us down to worry and want more. Well, don’t get me wrong, not that I’ve turned biased against them. Parts of them are indeed helpful, bigger parts of which are entertaining, n more and more parts are coming in handy, which more or less explains why parts of me still keep track of them every month. =P

Then I had lunch with family after the salon, after my grandma’s hair had turned glistening black and perfectly curled, to be specific. =P cute! Later at around 3, I watched my bro and my cousin rehearsing for my cousin’s wedding on Monday. It was fun. They took like one hour choosing the songs and ended up rehearsing both The Prayer and A Whole New World till 11 pm. Nice choice, I like both. They were both superb and relatively great in the performance on the big day. Relatively great cos my bro said they were not that all-out yesterday. But according to me, well, since they’re both my bro and cousin, even watching them on the stage singing The Prayer is cool enough, and they’re in fact great, so I think it’s great yesterday. I can’t give any objective opinion anyway. My bro and my cousin… How can I? =P

After that, there was performance by Dewi Sandra and her band, and it’s cool. I like it! I took the photo, but it’s too small and blurry. T.T (well sis, you can see it in bro’s phone later) Later, when the bride threw the bouquet from the stage, it was foolishly stuck inside the big lamp hanging on the ceiling and everybody was like “aaaww…” and then laughed. Haha.. then for the second time, after everybody had gathered before the stage again, the bride threw the bouquet and it was stupidly caught by a man! Hahaha.. and by reflex, he threw it to the girl standing next to him so quickly that the girl was shocked and immediately caught it. Haha.. I think they might get married after that. =P

Well, it was a great wedding party, and I wish a happy marriage for Benny and Vivi.
